การเดินทางไปตลาดน้ำท่าคา  

โดยรถส่วนตัว : ตามเส้นทางหลวงหมายเลข 325 (สมุทรสงคราม-บางแพ) จากอัมพวา ทางที่จะไปอำเภอดำเนินสะดวก ประมาณ 10 กิโลเมตร ทางเข้าตลาดน้ำจะอยู่ทางฝั่งขวา(ทางเดียวกับทางเข้าวัดเทพประสิทธิ์) ให้กลับรถเข้าไปทางวัดเทพประสิทธิ์ ระยะทางจากปากทางประมาณ 5 กม. ตลาดน้ำท่าคาจะอยู่ทางซ้ายมือค่ะ

โดยรถประจำทาง : สามารถขึ้นรถสองแถวได้ที่ตลาดในตัวเมืองสมุทรสงคราม หน้าธนาคารทหารไทยสาย "ท่าคา-วัดเทพประสิทธิ์"ตั้งแต่เวลา 07.00-18.00 น. รถออกทุก 20 นาที

จากบ้านฝนโฮมสเตย์ : คุณสามารถขับรถไปเองตามการเดินทางด้านบนค่ะ ห่างจากบ้านฝนโฮมสเตย์ประมาณ 6 กิโลเมตร แต่หากไม่ได้เอารถมา เรามีบริการรถตุ๊ก ตุ๊ก รับส่งถึงบ้านในราคา ตั้งแต่ 150-350 บาทค่ะ(ไม่แนะนำให้ไปทางเรือนะคะ เพราะจะอ้อมและใช้เวลาในการเดินทางนานเกินไป)

History of Thakha Floating Market

The old place of Thakha floating market is located on the Thakha dam.The villagers have the occupation in planting famous annual crops such as allium,garlic,chilli,dried chilli and else.In former times, the villagers would bring the vegetables and fruits from their gardens that remained from eating in family to exchange it together such as when anyone had allium and garlic, they would exchange chilli and dried chilli etc.

Next, when the exchange between the villages became more increasing,it brought the trade of village. The trade of goods exchange had always been starting from the dawn about 5 a.m. and finishing about 3 p.m. The merchants of dam local market paddled the boat along the Thakha canal.Finally,the dam local market has become Thakha floating market nowaday.

The popular goods of Thakha floating market is the products of coconut such as coconut juice, coconut sugar , dried coconut meat, and plam juice etc.
